The goal is to design, plan and implement a social-base business to allow KIHMI to be sustainable and move the local economy.
Initiatives
- Implement a business plan aligned with local customs and resources
- Train community to improve economic conditions taking advantage of the businesses on which KIHMI is focused
- Create and implement a mutual association to participate in the business
- Standardize products from wine to fish and organize chain of production to preserve the artisanal value of the product within a global market
- Create and implement a transportation strategy to move production to port
- Design a venture tour and train personnel for guest house open to tourists and academic visitors
- Collaborate with the WAE group to design vocational programs to form community in different aspects of the business
- Maintain partnership with Rafael Nũnez Educational Institution to plant and foster the adoption of trees as part of the El Jardin project
