The Office of Academic Affairs is deeply committed to a culture of assessment and continuous quality improvement.  At the core of its mission, the Office of Academic Affairs:

  • Develops technological innovations for its curricular and assessment needs
  • Manages the PharmD Assessment Plan tied to the School’s Strategic Plan
  • Administers PharmD program surveys, monitors results and communicates data to key stakeholders
  • Produces assessment and reflection tools to monitor the development of student learning, co-curricular activities, and interprofessional education activities
  • Reviews PharmD course and instructor evaluations to ensure continuous quality improvement of teaching and learning
  • Upholds assessment standards to ensure ongoing reaccreditation with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

LEARNING EXPERIENCE EVALUATIONS

Learning Experience Evaluations are administered by the USC Office of Institutional Research.

USC Learning Experience Evaluations are typically sent out the Monday of the last week of classes. E-mail reminders are sent out to both faculty and students when the evaluation period goes live.  Response rates can be monitored by faculty via Blackboard.
