Application Requirements
To be eligible for the PharmD program, you must meet certain academic requirements.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent before matriculation.
- Have achieved a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all college work and pre-pharmacy required courses at an accredited two- or four-year college (biochemistry must be taken at a four-year institution). Pre-pharmacy courses from vocational or technical schools are not accepted. If you did not achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA but demonstrate ability to be successful in the program, you may still be considered for admission.
- Complete all pre-pharmacy required courses with a grade of C or higher at least one week before you enter our program.

Once you confirm you have met the eligibility requirements listed below, your next steps are:
Interviews
Applicants must be interviewed before admission to the PharmD program. The purpose of the interview is to assess your oral communication skills, writing skills, leadership ability and your motivation or potential to be a pharmacist.
If you are offered an interview, you will be notified one to three weeks in advance. Please keep the following dates available because, except for rare circumstances, appointments are not rescheduled.
In-Person interviews are hosted 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days:

- Friday, November 17, 2023
- Friday, January 19, 2024
- Friday, February 16, 2024
- Friday, April 19, 2024
Virtual interviews are hosted 3 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on the following days:
- Thursday, December 14, 2023
- Thursday, March 7, 2024
- Thursday, May 23, 2024
