The Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy unites patient-centered care with health-system insights and analysis. Our faculty represent a wide range of clinical and research specialties—from community pharmacy and geriatrics to oncology and psychiatry.

Amanda Burkhardt, PhD
- Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy
An immunology researcher and educator with experience working in both basic and translational science. PI of Trojan CALM, an undergraduate student driven research project.
Melissa J. Durham, PharmD, MACM (she/her)
- Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Associate Dean of Organizational Success and Well-Being
Melissa Durham's expertise includes ambulatory care practice, community pharmacy-based patient care programs and pain management.
Annie Wong-Beringer, PharmD, FCCP, FIDSA
- Associate Dean for Research Affairs & Professor of Clinical Pharmacy
Expert in bacterial resistance and virulence, host microbial interactions and host immune response
Julie Ann Dopheide, PharmD, BCPP, FASHP, FAAPP
- Professor of Clinical Pharmacy; Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences
Expert in psychopharmacology, particularly pediatric psychopharmacology and the treatment of mood disorders
Houda Alachkar, PharmD, PhD
- Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy
Houda Alachkar focuses on the identification and functional characterization of therapeutic targets in acute myeloid leukemia.
Tien M.H. Ng, PharmD, FHFSA, FCCP, BCPS, FACC
- Chair & Professor of the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy
Tien Ng is an expert in heart failure pharmacotherapy, heart failure pathophysiology and drug-induced QT prolongation.

Lisa W. Goldstone has been appointed vice chair of education and practice in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
The Mann School appointed Tien M.H. Ng as chair of the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy in April 2024.
Winter Roth, PharmD, has joined the USC Mann School as assistant professor of clinical pharmacy (clinician-educator).
The pilot program will provide pharmacist-led medication reviews for members of vulnerable communities that are disproportionally burdened by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
