This award is named in honor of our late student, Aiko Maruya. She showed exemplary prowess and potential in Regulatory Science, though passed away before she could receive her doctoral degree. The Aiko Maruya Award is thus given to students pursuing their doctorate education who exemplify Aiko’s passion and drive for the field.

These scholarships are funded by Team-Based Regulatory and Quality Sciences (TRAQS) industry donations and vary by term.

These scholarships recognize academic excellence, dedication, and potential for advancement in regulatory & quality related fields.

Students must be enrolled in one of the programs full-time at the time of disbursement unless otherwise noted. Students in the Progressive Degree Program are only eligible after completing their undergraduate program unless otherwise noted. Not all scholarships may be awarded during the academic year.

Due to federal financial aid guidelines, your award package may be affected through a reduction in your overall award amount. If you have any questions about the impact on your financial aid, please contact the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Financial Aid Office at (323) 442-1467 or by email at pharmfao@usc.edu.
