At a time when the United States is training less than one-sixteenth of the necessary candidates to fill regulatory positions over the next ten years, companies, academic centers and government offices are actively seeking regulatory science professionals who can effectively bring medical products from concept to market.
The Foundation in Regulatory Sciences Minor will produce graduates who are qualified to participate in the regulatory process, innovating and developing innovative products in science and medicine.
This unique undergraduate minor – which utilizes courses from the course catalog within the undergraduate major, Pharmacology and Drug Development – is designed to deepen students’ understanding of current regulations and quality practices with practical application in the development and commercialization of drugs, biologics, and medical device products.
This minor will broaden perspectives and integrate knowledge to allow students to understand the regulatory process and prepare to pursue careers in the fields of operational and strategic regulatory science, clinical regulatory affairs, and regulatory compliance.
