Lu Li, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dean Vassilios Papadopoulos, received the 2019 Anna Steinberger Female Trainee Research Excellence Award on April 4 for her research on inducing the formation of human Leydig cells.
Li received the award for her poster “Directing Human-Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells Differentiation Towards Leydig Cells,” presented at the 44th American Society of Andrology Annual Conference in Chicago.
The Anna Steinberger Award is conferred annually upon a female trainee member of the American Society of Andrology who, in the judgment of the Awards Committee, has presented a meritorious original laboratory or clinical research report at the organization’s annual meeting.
