Popovian to Speak at White Coat Ceremony for PharmD Class of 2027

Robert Popovian, a longtime member of the USC Mann Board of Councilors, will address new PharmD students on Friday, August 18.

USC Mann’s White Coat Ceremony for the PharmD Class of 2027 will feature keynote speaker Robert Popovian, PharmD ‘93, MS ‘97, founder of the strategic consulting firm Conquest Advisors.

An accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical science and healthcare industry, Popovian is a recognized authority on health economics, policy, government relations, medical affairs and strategic planning. Popovian also serves as chief science policy officer at the Global Healthy Living Foundation, senior health policy fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute and visiting policy fellow at the Pioneer Insitute

From 2017 to 2021, Popovian served as vice president of U.S. government relations at Pfizer. He took on multiple leadership roles at Pfizer since 1996 in medical policy and healthcare advocacy.
