Jeany Kim Jun, PharmD, MPH, BCACP, APh is joining the USC Mann School as associate professor of clinical pharmacy in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
She will serve as director of collaboration and community outreach, overseeing the school’s interprofessional collaboration and co-curricular community health outreach efforts.
“This role will lead the growth of our interprofessional education partnerships and allow integration of our student organization outreach activities, with a vision for these programs to truly impact the public health of surrounding communities,” says Tien Ng, interim chair of the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
Previously chair of the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences at the Keck Graduate Institute’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Jun has extensive academic, administrative and clinical experience that includes faculty positions at Loma Linda University and Western University of Health Sciences.
Her most recent clinical practice was based at the Population Health – Diabetes and Specialty Care Centers at Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, where she served as an ambulatory care pharmacist. She has received numerous awards for her teaching and served on an international mission in Cambodia in pharmacy practice.
Jun is returning to the USC Health Sciences campus 21 years after completing her residency in primary care pharmacy practice at USC Mann. She received her PharmD at the University of California, San Francisco, and holds a Master of Public Health degree (health administration and international health) from Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
