Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As we look ahead to the end of the spring semester and to Commencement, this edition of our newsletter showcases some of the latest news and updates from the Mann School.
We announce a new minor combining biopharmaceutical sciences and law, and highlight the Trojan CALM study, which engages undergraduate students in hands-on research on stress and cortisol levels.
We highlight our Schaeffer Center faculty members’ research on expanding access to anti-obesity medications and their thought leadership on whether they should be covered under Medicare and Medicaid.
It was an honor to be nominated by students and members of the campus community for the 2025 APhA-ASP Outstanding Dean award, which I received at the national conference last month.
Thank you for your support, which helps make the Mann School’s work possible.
Sincerely,

Vassilios Papadopoulos, DPharm, PhD, DSc (hon)
Dean, USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
