An Update from Our Dean

May 2019

Dear Friends of USC Mann,

Dean Vassilios Papadopoulos

Earlier this month, at the 112th Commencement of USC Mann, we conferred 260 degrees to graduates who will move on to careers in clinical settings, in the community, in research and development, academia, industry and other fields.

Our Spring 2019 newsletter helps illustrate the many ways that the school opens new paths forward in clinical care, pharmaceutical science and education. We celebrate our PharmD students’ top board passage rates, and we salute our faculty members, postdoctoral researchers and students who have been honored for excellence.

As our school continues extending the range of the role of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists in enhancing health, we continue to work every day to transform the face of pharmacy by leading the convergence of science, health care and policy. Thank you for your support, which helps make it all possible.

Best regards,

Vassilios Papadopoulos, DPharm, PhD, DSc (hon)
Dean, USC School of Pharmacy
John Stauffer Decanal Chair in Pharmaceutical Sciences
