Talin Bchakjian has joined the USC Mann School as assistant professor of clinical pharmacy, with a joint appointment as clinical assistant professor of family medicine in the physician assistant program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Bchakjian served as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the Los Angeles General Medical Center after receiving her PharmD and completing her PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies in ambulatory care at USC Mann.
A board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist, her main areas of practice include diabetes, hypertension and HIV. She will continue her practice in the medicine and pediatric clinic at L.A. General while teaching at USC. She will also coordinate the pharmacology curriculum within the physician assistant program.
