John Stofko

John Stofko is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Health Economics and is a Senior Scholar at the USC Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics.

His background includes biopharmaceutical research and development, executive management, clinical and patient services, commercial launch planning, product and portfolio strategy, healthcare consulting, and leading strategic partnerships. He has held leadership positions at Biogen, Kite Pharma/Gilead, Caremark/Baxter, and start-up organizations.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.

His research interests include market access and pharmaceutical pricing.
