Cho-Nan Tsai is an adjunct faculty member and seasoned technology entrepreneur with deep expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and applied data systems. His most recent work focuses on AI-driven drug discovery, where he leads initiatives leveraging advanced machine learning models to accelerate target identification, molecular design, and therapeutic development. Through his leadership at Hyperionsoft, he applies cutting-edge AI techniques to transform pharmaceutical R&D, enabling faster and more cost-effective discovery pipelines.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Tsai managed large-scale technology projects at Fortune 500 companies including Sony, Ricoh, and McKinsey & Company, developing expertise across data platforms, digital advertising, financial technology, and studio technology systems. He later served as a corporate executive and startup leader, raising tens of millions of dollars in capital and scaling multiple technology ventures with exponential year-over-year revenue growth.

Mr. Tsai is currently the CEO and President of Hyperionsoft, an AI consulting firm specializing in AI transformation services. His work today is primarily focused on the pharmaceutical and financial industries, where he leads the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions for drug discovery, risk modeling, and intelligent financial systems. His teaching integrates real-world AI implementation experience with industry-focused applications, equipping students to design and build production-ready AI systems that address complex challenges in healthcare and finance.
