Allison Chacon, PharmD, APh is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at USC Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed a PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program (CPRP) at the USC Pharmacies followed by a PGY-2 CPRP focused on Pain Management and Rheumatology. In her experiences as a PGY-1 resident, she was a leading member of the LA City COVID-19 vaccine rollout. There, she and her team were able to successfully design and implement various methods improving vaccination within the county, resulting in over 1 million doses of vaccines administered. Upon entering her PGY-2 she individualized her practice working with complex patients of the USC Pain Center and USC Rheumatology. Dr. Chacon’s practice goals are centered around incorporating pharmacists within the treatment team, managing patient’s medications, enhancing the continuity of care, and improving patient health outcomes.
