Danielle Kruse, PharmD ’23, joined the USC Mann faculty in August 2026 as assistant professor of clinical pharmacy. She completed postgraduate residency training in pharmacy practice at VA Greater Los Angeles and infectious diseases at Huntington Health.

She has taught and mentored learners through didactic lectures, small-group facilitation, clinical service, and research training. She has authored and contributed to studies on antimicrobial resistance and bloodstream infections, with an emphasis on resistance evolution, early risk stratification, and predictors of poor clinical outcomes. Her scholarly interests include microbial pathogenesis, evolution, and genomics, with a focus on their impact on antimicrobial resistance and patient outcomes.
