PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Ambulatory Care Clinics of Los Angeles General Medical Center

This program provides residents with comprehensive ambulatory care training and prepares residents to manage a variety of chronic disease states through drug treatment modifications and monitoring, and disease and symptom assessment, identify and assess social determinants of health and interact with a wide range of patient populations, and implement or advance ambulatory care pharmacy services in various settings. Residents will also learn to manage care transitions between inpatient and outpatient, while providing therapeutic recommendations to interdisciplinary teams in the inpatient internal medicine service.
