Connect with USC Mann at APhA 2026 in Los Angeles

USC Mann is showing up in a big way at this year’s APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition and California Pharmacy Exchange, March 26–30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

From faculty presentations and continuing education programs to national and statewide honors, Trojan pharmacists, student pharmacists and alumni will be front and center—sharing ideas and celebrating excellence across the profession.

Highlights

  • Steve Chen, associate dean for clinical affairs, will present “Translating Pharmacist Care Into Clinical Outcomes.” Sunday, March 29, 8:15 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
  • Richard Dang, associate professor of clinical pharmacy, will present “RSV in Focus: Pharmacists Driving Vaccine Access, Confidence and Education,” Saturday, March 28, 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.;  “Rewriting the Script: Standard of Care in California Pharmacy.” Sunday, March 29, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Jessica Abraham, director of population health, will present “Expanding Technician Opportunities in the Golden State.” Sunday, March 29, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Community Health Worker Certificate: Health System Focus, a continuing education offering presented by the USC Mann School, will take place on Thursday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learn more

California Reception

The California reception will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Gold Ballroom at JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live. Conference registrations and badges will be required for entry. 

Awards

The APhA award ceremony will be held in the Gold Ballroom, JW Marriott L.A. Live, on Sunday, March 29, from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

  • Richard Dang will receive the Good Government Pharmacist-of-the-Year Award

CPhA’s annual awards will be presented on Saturday, March 28, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Steve Chen will receive CPhA Presidential Leadership & Service Recognition
  • Parth Parikh, PharmD ’13, MS Regulatory Science ’13, chief medical officer of Blackberry Health, will receive the CPhA Excellence in Innovation Award
  • USC Mann’s CPhA-ASP Chapter will receive the CPhA ASP Chapter of Excellence Award
